My husband is a very aggressive video game player, and the fact that he has bipolar disorder does not help. Hes Extremely abusive to his controllers, we go through controllers monthly. For christmas, i'd like to get him a very heavy duty ps3 controller. one that can be thrown without breaking. at least not the first time its thrown, or the second. lol any help about where to get one, in store or online would be helpful. Or any other great ideas!( it doesnt have to be sony brand) Thank you guys!

How about you stop buying him new controllers until he can get his temper under control.Surely a month's supply of meds costs less than the $50-60 you're spending on new controllers.
Otherwise, since he's just going to break the controller anyways, just get him a cheap one.Better to only be spending $15-20/month than $50, yes?

LOL your husband gets pissed and throw controllers….Kinda like how I am. Normally I don't swear, but when I am starting to lose I swear A LOT!
As far as heavy duty controllers, you could probably do a search if you haven't already.
or you could make a cushion contraption. Take a lot of pillows put them against a wall or something, and when he throws it, it will hit the pillows and have a smaller chance of breaking it.
or you can put a trampoline where he throws it, so it can bounce back.
At least he is abusive to his controllers and not people.
